Ghost is built to help you find and win customers. These terms explain your membership rights, the distinction between your published assets and Ghost's proprietary tools, and your responsibilities when putting work into the world.
1. Agreement and scope
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to ghostinthebot.com, the Ghost in the Bot membership at /members/, its tools, learning materials, examples, files and other services supplied by Hodgkinson Publishing Limited ("we", "us" and "our").
By buying, registering for or using Ghost, you agree to these Terms, together with any product-specific terms displayed at checkout. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the service.
2. Company details
Ghost in the Bot is operated by Hodgkinson Publishing Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 04057471).

3. What the membership provides
Ghost is a customer-acquisition learning and software environment. It provides educational material, research and planning workflows, browser-based applications and builders for producing marketing resources and other business assets. Some tools run locally in your browser and allow you to download independent HTML, images, reports or editable project backups.
Ghost does not promise customers, leads, sales, placement on external platforms, automatically verified market data or financial results. You decide which activities to carry out and remain responsible for the accuracy and lawful use of your published materials.
4. Eligibility and business use
Ghost is intended primarily for adults and business, professional, entrepreneurial or educational use. If you purchase on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to act for it. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
5. Purchases, prices and refunds
The applicable offer page and checkout will specify what is included, the purchase price, payment schedule (if any), taxes, any trial or subscription terms, access conditions and any specific refund or cancellation policy. Those transaction-specific terms form part of your purchase.
Digital content may become available shortly after payment or account approval. Any statutory cancellation, refund or other mandatory rights continue to apply regardless of wording in an offer.
6. Account access and security
Access to paid materials is intended for the authorised account holder. Keep login details confidential and do not share or transfer access unless a written offer or licence expressly permits it. You are responsible for activity using your credentials where reasonably within your control.
Account access is managed through ProductDyno. The member start page is ghostinthebot.com/members/index.html. Use Member Login or Forgot Password when you need assistance accessing your account.
7. Your licence to use Ghost
Subject to payment where required, these Terms and any licence provided with a particular purchase, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Ghost membership, its applications and learning materials for your own lawful business, educational and professional purposes.
The membership's protected applications, libraries, articles, code, graphics, course content, templates and branding are not automatically supplied with resale, sublicensing, distribution, white-label or platform-cloning rights. Any such additional rights must be granted in a separate written licence.
8. Your finished assets and original content
We grant you permission to use, adapt and publish the generated end-result files for lawful business purposes, subject to any clearly stated third-party rights and any separate product-specific restrictions. That permission concerns the finished exported assets, not redistribution of the Ghost editors, member software, underlying proprietary libraries or protected training content.
You are responsible for checking images, names, logos, claims, trademarks and other content you place into an asset, including obtaining any permission required from third parties. An export being technically portable does not grant rights to someone else's content.
9. Your data and backups
Many Ghost tools save projects and preferences locally in your browser. This is convenient but is not a managed cloud-backup service. We recommend downloading project JSON backups regularly and keeping copies under your control.
We do not guarantee that local drafts will survive browser resets, device changes, security software, clearing of site data, or changes to browser storage policies. Keep any material you cannot afford to lose in your own backups.
10. Acceptable use
You must not use Ghost or its exports to infringe intellectual property rights, commit fraud, send unlawful or unsolicited communications, mislead customers, violate privacy or consumer law, distribute malware, bypass authentication, share restricted member files or interfere with the service.
Do not represent an illustrative example, fictional business, placeholder metric, hypothesis or member-entered estimate as independently verified evidence.
11. Research, examples and external platforms
Ghost contains practical guidance, checklists, illustrative scenarios and tools based on information entered by members. A tool that compares options or calculates figures is not proof that a given marketing strategy will work. Results depend on your offer, audience, implementation, timing, outside platforms and many other factors.
Third-party services, websites, AI models, publishing platforms, email providers and advertising networks have their own terms and policies. You are responsible for complying with those rules when using them with Ghost outputs.
12. Availability and changes
We may maintain, improve, replace or retire individual features and resources where reasonably necessary. We aim to keep the paid membership useful but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, continued availability of a particular third-party provider, or unchanged tools and interface designs.
If a material change affects something you have purchased, your rights will depend on the applicable contract and law. We may temporarily restrict access for security or maintenance.
13. Intellectual property
Except for member-supplied content and the specific permissions given for exported assets above, Ghost's names, marks, membership content, source code, designs, instructional material, proprietary methods and other materials belong to Hodgkinson Publishing Limited or their licensors.
Nothing in these Terms assigns our underlying intellectual property to a member. Product names and third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
14. Support and communications
For account, order or product questions, use Product Support Desk. Our ability to assist may depend on the information you provide, the third-party service involved and the applicable support arrangements presented with your offer.
15. Warranties, responsibility and limits
We take reasonable care in preparing Ghost resources, but, to the extent permitted by law, tools and educational material are provided without a promise that they will be error-free, uninterrupted, suitable for every business or produce particular commercial results.
We are not responsible for losses caused by unlawful use, unverified member-supplied content, failure to preserve local files, or independent providers outside our control, except to the extent liability cannot legally be excluded or limited. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.
16. Suspension and ending access
We may restrict or end access where reasonably necessary because of misuse, fraud, a serious breach of these Terms, security concerns or payment issues, subject to applicable law. If access ends, you may retain and continue using legitimate finished assets already exported under the permission above, provided you remain entitled to the content and comply with the law and any separate licence terms.
Ending membership access does not automatically delete independent HTML files or project backups already saved to your device.
17. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Information submitted to payment, membership and other external providers may also be governed by those providers' notices.
18. Updates to these terms
We may update these Terms as Ghost evolves. The current version will be published at ghostinthebot.com/terms.html and show its last updated date. Where required by law or the nature of the change, we will provide appropriate notice.
19. Governing law and mandatory rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory protections and jurisdiction rules applying to you in your location. Nothing in these Terms removes legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
20. Contact
For terms, access or purchase enquiries, contact Product Support Desk or write to the registered office listed above. Please also read the Disclaimer for important information about examples and business outcomes.
