1. Purpose of this disclaimer
This Disclaimer applies to Ghost in the Bot, the membership, its training, applications, templates, planning tools, examples, generated files and associated communications from Hodgkinson Publishing Limited.
2. Education and practical tools—not guaranteed results
Ghost is designed to help people understand customer acquisition, plan sensible experiments and create practical marketing assets. Guidance, frameworks, calculations and suggestions are educational and informational. They are not a promise that any particular campaign will generate traffic, enquiries, subscribers, customers or income.
3. No guaranteed earnings or customers
Actual business results depend on many variables outside our control, including market demand, audience, pricing, competition, timing, execution, product quality and regulatory requirements. We do not guarantee profits, a particular conversion rate, a quantity of customers or any return on investment.
Any forecasts, figures, potential scenarios and worked examples are illustrative unless expressly identified and supported as factual measurements.
4. Fictional examples and sample data
Many tools include demo businesses, example projects, sample metrics and suggested copy so you can learn quickly. These examples may be fictional and should never be interpreted as audited results, real testimonials or independent proof that a strategy succeeds.
Replace demonstration content and verify every material claim before publishing it.
5. Browser-based software and downloadable files
Ghost includes software that runs in your browser and may store your drafts locally. Compatibility, storage space, browser permissions, security settings and third-party changes can affect operation. Test each downloaded page, graphic, spreadsheet-style report or other file before using it publicly.
A browser preview is not the same as verified live deployment. Hosting, domains, email delivery, data collection, tracking and payment handling may require separate services and configuration.
6. User-entered facts, research and calculations
Many Ghost outputs are based on information members enter themselves. The tools do not independently confirm the accuracy of that information. A score, calculated ratio, ranked option or suggested next step is a decision aid, not verified market research or a substitute for your judgement.
Mark estimates, assumptions and unknown values accurately. Do not publish invented proof, fabricated reviews or misleading claims.
7. AI and external services
Where any workflow helps you prepare instructions for an external AI service, that does not mean Ghost itself runs the external model or verifies its output. Third-party services have independent terms, limits, availability and data-use policies. Review any AI-assisted text, code, claims or recommendations before relying on or publishing them.
8. No regulated professional advice
Ghost does not provide legal, tax, accounting, investment, regulatory, employment, cybersecurity or other regulated professional advice. Obtain qualified advice where your activity, client or jurisdiction requires it.
9. You are responsible for lawful marketing
When you publish a webpage, collect enquiries, send emails, run advertisements, use testimonials or launch a referral campaign, you are responsible for checking applicable data protection, advertising, spam, consumer protection, accessibility and intellectual property rules.
In particular, a standalone HTML asset generated by Ghost is not automatically equipped with a compliant consent-management system, privacy notice, email delivery service, secure database or payment integration.
10. Protect your data and accounts
Keep backups of important projects, protect credentials and take care when using shared computers. We cannot recover browser-only files that have been deleted or lost from your device.
11. Third-party links and promotions
Some membership pages may recommend independent services or other products offered by us. Such recommendations are optional. We are not responsible for external platforms' availability, rules, charges or performance, and a link should not be interpreted as an independent guarantee or endorsement from the linked provider.
12. Changes, availability and accuracy
Information and software can become outdated. Platforms change, regulations evolve and links occasionally stop working. We may correct, replace or update resources, but you should confirm important facts before taking action.
13. Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Ghost resources are supplied without guarantees of uninterrupted access or suitability for every particular application.
